We are really pleased to kick off the second year of the EODF Ireland chapter with another country meet-up.

The discussion theme of this event is “From Coronavirus to Brexit: the changing role of organisation design in the face of planned and unplanned disruption”

The impacts of a global pandemic on our business models and on how we work continue to emerge. Brexit, which possibly took a back seat to Covid for a number of months, is coming back into focus for organisations in Ireland as we consider the impacts on business models post-January 2021. It seems reasonable to say that we have never before experienced disruption on this scale and it has accelerated change that we would never have anticipated.

During this meet-up we will explore:

the impacts of both planned and unplanned disruption on the role of org design
the lessons we can learn from our responses to Covid-19 and how we can apply them in the context of Brexit or other major change
the future role of the org design practitioner
As always the tone of this event will be open, informal and equal. We will talk as a full group and also participate in small-group discussions about some of the design implications of new ways of working for our own organisations.

Whether you are an org design practitioner, organisation leader, educator, academic or just interested in the discipline we’d love to see you at the event. All you need to bring is your experience, knowledge and a curious attitude. You can participate actively in the discussion or simply listen; either way we’d love you to join us and be part of building a great organisation design community in Ireland!
