Jaana Nyfjord recently joined Spotify as an organizational coach. Her work entails uncovering organizational complexity and scaling autonomy. Over the past 10+ years, she has been deeply engaged in the efforts of various companies to become better software development organizations. They range from small IT departments in Bangladesh to global enterprises in defense and telecom. Her work can be characterized in terms of many different roles as pioneer, innovator, early adopter, expert, catalyst and, at times, a mix of all these roles at the same time.
Jaana has a PhD within computer and systems sciences and she has written a number of papers within the field of agile development, complex systems and systems thinking.
